Open Ireland Network is a network for organizations and individuals on the island of Ireland who want to connect around Open Source Software, Open Hardware, Open Data, Open Research, Open Government and all things open.
This project is dedicated to assembling a broad collection of learning materials focused on the principles and practices of open source and InnerSource, specially crafted for Irish IT professionals and developers. It's important to note that our initiative is not designed to provide training on any particular open source projects. Instead, our aim is to equip individuals with the foundational knowledge they need to understand, navigate, and immerse themselves in the open source world, ultimately guiding them on how to make meaningful contributions and get involved. We see this collection as a living resource and invite everyone to contribute and share holistic learning resources. Together, we strive to catalyze continuous learning and capability building within the Irish community.
