Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

You need...

• Docker
• NodeJS
• npm

Installing

1. build the docker container for running the demo code: docker-compose up
2. You can find the code to work on at /server/demo. Hint: /server/example contains the finished example.
3. Unzip the files of Patty to /local/demo and open that directory inside a terminal
4. Install all prerequisites with npm install
5. Start the development environment for Patty: npm start
6. Have a look inside the README.md of Patty as it's describing everything you need to know. Hint: /local/example contains the finished example to build.
