BlockBall is a spigot plugin to play soccer games in Minecraft.

Contributing

• Clone the repository to your local environment
• Execute gradle sync for dependencies
• Install the additional spigot dependencies by executing the following gradle task

[./gradlew|gradlew.bat] downloadDependencies

• Build the plugin by executing

[./gradlew|gradlew.bat] shadowJar

• The .jar file gets generated at blockball-bukkit-plugin/build/libs/blockball-bukkit-plugin.jar

Docker 🐳

• The generated .jar file can be built into a docker image including a spigot server to make testing easier.
• Execute the included Dockerfile and set the preferred spigot version via the environment variable SPIGOT_VERSION.
• The first startup of the container will take a while to download and install all spigot versions.
• Instead of using shadowJar you can use dockerJar to directly copy the compiled .jar file into a running container named spigot.
