BlockBall is a spigot plugin to play soccer games in Minecraft.
- Uses blocks as balls in minecraft
- Games are completely customizable
- Version support 1.8.R3 - 1.14.R1

- Please check out the BlockBall Documentation for further information.
- Clone the repository to your local environment
- Execute gradle sync for dependencies
- Install the additional spigot dependencies by executing the following gradle task
[./gradlew|gradlew.bat] downloadDependencies
- Build the plugin by executing
[./gradlew|gradlew.bat] shadowJar
- The .jar file gets generated at
blockball-bukkit-plugin/build/libs/blockball-bukkit-plugin.jar
- The generated .jar file can be built into a docker image including a spigot server to make testing easier.
- Execute the included Dockerfile and set the preferred spigot version via the environment variable
SPIGOT_VERSION
. - The first startup of the container will take a while to download and install all spigot versions.
- Instead of using
shadowJar
you can usedockerJar
to directly copy the compiled .jar file into a running container namedspigot
.
