This repository contains the relevant documents and code for the re-implementation of the algorithm presented in "Robust 2D Principal Component Analysis with Structured Sparsity Regularization" by Yipeng Sun, Xiaoming Tao, Yang Li, and Jianhua Lu in their paper.
This work was done by Shion Matsumoto, Marcus König, and Yaning Zhang, and Rohna Varma as part of a final project for EECS 545 (Machine Learning) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
