Introduction

RetroBat is a set of Batch and Powershell Scripts designed to configure automatically EmulationStation frontend with RetroArch and standalone emulators.

With it you will be quickly able to run games from a ROMs collection. You can save a lot of time you can keep to play !

RetroBat can download and install all software you need to have a good retro gaming experience on your Windows PC.

RetroBat can run in Portable Mode. That means you can start it from HDD or from any removable storage device, as long as you do it on a computer that meets the requirements.

System requirements

OS

• Windows 7 SP3 or Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 (64bit)

Processor

• CPU with SSE2 support. 3 GHz and Dual Core, not older than 2008 is highly recommended.

Graphics

• If you want to use emulators such as Dolphin or PCSX2, you need modern graphics card (Direct3D 11.1 / OpenGL 3.3) that supports Direct3D 11.1 / OpenGL 4.4.

Software

• Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Packages (32 bit)
• Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Packages (32 bit)
• DirectX
• Powershell 2.0 or newer version (installed on Windows 8.1/10, you need manual install on Windows 7)
• JoyToKey (optional)

RetroBat can only be installed on x86 64 bit computers.
