Field detection for incomplete Fields

manuelweisser opened this issue · comments

What would you like to be added?

As far as I see, the plugin only detects the Fields when all the files have them specified in the yaml-header.
It would be useful, if the Fields also show up if only some of the notes have them (and show them empty if they don't exist in certain notes.)

Why is this needed?

In the current setting, I need to add tons of empty Fields in the yaml headers. Of course this can be done via templates, but this is an unnecessary restriction I think.

You should only need to add the field to one of the notes for it to be detected. To clarify, you're saying that even if you add a YAML property to a subset of the notes, it still doesn't show up as a field? Could you share some more on what types of fields you're adding so I can troubleshoot this?
