This analysis aims to provide a solution to the problem of violent crime in many communities in the US by identifying those critical factors that lead to high violent crime rates. The major findings of this analysis were to focus on creating employment opportunities to reduce crime, and encourage the importance of family life to improve the well-being of the society.
Data used: The Communities and Crime Unnormalized Data Set was taken from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. The data combines socio-economic data from the '90 Census, law enforcement data from the 1990 Law Enforcement Management and Admin Stats survey, and crime data from the 1995 FBI UCR.
