Program to rename files or folder. Can be used to rename series, movies or anime. It performs an automatic processing of the name file and follow some rules create a new personalized name for the file. It shows the new name for the user so it can be edited before the execution of rename.
What things you need to install the software and how to install them
Python 3.x
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.
Start creating a virtual environment called "venv":
$ python -m venv venv
Then, activate with:
Windows:
$ venv\Scripts\activate
MacOs:
$ source venv/bin/activate
When finised, deactivate with:
$ deactivate
After activate "env" it is necessary install the requirements:
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
For testing, use the sample video in the forlder "test" and call the main script:
cd test/
python ../automatic-renamer/automatic-renamer.py
Turn script executable:
chmod +x automatic-renamer/automatic-renamer.py
Call script inside a folder:
./automatic-renamer.py .
- To run a test, call the script inside the folder.
python automatic-renamer.py .
For Windows in Context Menu:
To generate automatic-renamer.exe file to run on Windows.
pyinstaller -w -F automatic-renamer/automatic-renamer.py
- Add the keys on Registry or run static/automatic-renamer.reg.
- Copy .exe file on C:\Program Files\Legendas TV Organizer
- Add C:\Program Files\Legendas TV Organizer in the Path on Windows Environment Variable.
