This repository holds GeoJSON and TopoJSON files that were converted from the shapefiles available from Kent County.
The intention of this repository is to make the data more transparent and accessible by:
- converting the data to an open and human readable format (GeoJSON)
- having the data available in formats that are easy to embed on the web (GeoJSON and TopoJSON)
- accumulating a history of the changes to the data

- Villages - Boundaries of the 5 villages in Kent County

- Schools - Public and private schools in Kent County
- Parks - Boundaries of Kent County-owned parks
- Lakes and Ponds - Lakes, ponds and swamps of the hydrographic network compiled during the 2003 Kent County Orthophotography project.
- Rivers and Streams - Rivers, streams and marsh outlines of the hydrographic network compiled during the 2003 Kent County Orthophotography. Digitized in direction of flow. Rivers, streams and creeks greater than 8 feet wide are shown with both edges and an interpreted center.
- Corner Points - Measures of markers for the legal location of the Corner
- Quarter Sections - Divisions of the second division of the PLSS Township
