OpenVRT is an open-source protocol for Variable Rate Technology.
It consists of an embedded system like Arduino, controlled by a master like this App, controlling the input flow rate on the machine.
The App must be fed with a GeoJSON prescription map, that will have the application grid for the tillage.
- OpenVRT Visualizer - A software that allow you to inspect the prescription maps directly from computer.
- OpenVRT Firmware - A firmware example, using a treadmill to simulate the actuator and a potentiometer to simulate the offset speed.
This project is derived from a Computer Science BSc thesis from UNIOESTE - Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná, with the guidance of Professor Dr. Marcio Seiji Oyamada.
