A library that can be used to perform a "monkey" test, which generates random values to feed your algorithm/method, and also has the possiblity to perform an automated tests of your swing ui.
Just import the lib into your project
Something you wish to test
Either take a look at the Testing.java file or read along Ther are two kind of tests, either you can feed your method/algorithm with random data, or test your swing ui for random input.
MonkeyBase test1 = new MonkeyBase("TESTNAME");
Where testname will be the logged testname. Then setup a for loop with the method inside
public class Testing {
public static void main(String[] args) throws InterruptedException {
MonkeyBase test1 = new MonkeyBase("test1",2000); // Testing inputs of algorithms
for (int i = 0; i <= 2000; i++) {
test(test1.randomString(), test1.randomInt(), test1.randomByte(), test1.randomBoolean(), test1.randomLong(), test1.randomChar(), test1.randomDouble(), test1.randomFloat(),test1.randomShort());
}
MonkeySwing test2 = new MonkeySwing("test", 100);// Testing swing ui
}
/**
* Just an empty method to feed random input
* @param test1
* @param test2
* @param test3
* @param test4
* @param test5
* @param test6
* @param test7
* @param test8
* @param test9
*/
public static void test(String test1, int test2, byte test3, boolean test4, long test5, char test6, double test7, float test8, short test9) {
}
}
A log txt file will be added to your source folder containing intresting information about the test.
