Extremely simple and almost no-code blank new tab page extension for Chromium browsers.

Installation

There is no Chrome Web Store URL for transparency. If you need more fine control and ease of installation, please search for blank new tab in Chrome Web Store.

1. Download or clone the repository.
2. Open new-tab.html file and tweak the background-color CSS property of the new tab page.
3. Open Chromium browser and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
4. Enable Developer mode.
5. Click Pack extension and select the repository.
6. Drag and drop generated .crx file to install the packed extension.
7. That's it. Now, you can delete all files that is generated and repository itself.
