dump_to_file.py
a plugin for "terminator" (https://launchpad.net/terminator) to dump console contents to a file per mouseclick
one needs to copy the plugin to /usr/share/terminator/terminatorlib/plugins/ and enable it under preferences to make the context-menu (named "Dump terminal to file") appear. dump files are stored under ~/.terminator
