A URL shortening service made using node.js. You can give the URL you want to shorten, then you get a ID which you can use as base-url/:ID, to go to the URL you gave. You can also view analytics of how many times your short URL was used and it also gives the timestamps of the visits.
For setting up locally, follow these steps:
- Clone the git repository, using:
git clone https://github.com/kkartik07/short-url-node.git - Install all required packages, using:
npm install - Run the script using:
npm start
