This single bash script can be called from the vultr Startup Script section of your instance. This script performs the below tasks.
- Creates new user to be used by Rundeck/Ansible/Puppet
- Adds public key to newly created user
- Adds newly created user to sudoers with NOPASSWD
After this all other changes should be issued from your server management tools e.g. Ansible/Puppet/Fabric
The below can be overridden by exporting new environmental shell values before executing the script (See example under usage)
