tilestrata-sharp

A TileStrata plugin for manipulating and transcoding tile images with libvips via sharp.

$ npm install tilestrata-sharp --save

To install libvips, you can use:

# install libvips on linux
curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lovell/sharp/master/preinstall.sh | bash -
# install libvips on mac
brew install homebrew/science/vips --with-webp --with-graphicsmagick

Sample Usage

var sharp = require('tilestrata-sharp');

server.layer('mylayer').route('tile.webp')
    .use(yourprovider)
    .use(sharp(function(image, sharp) {
        return image.resize(256).quality(80).webp();
    }));
