Automated_Ping_editing_seafloor_mapping
Shell scripting that automates the complex processes of making seafloor bathymetry map from freshly collected sonar data during the 35 days cruise in the Atlantic ocean in 2018 Summer. It automatically downloads data from the server and does pre-processing. It then apply AI for "Ping editing" which was done mostly by human eyes in the past. This new AI "Ping editing" is both faster and more accurate that can save a lot of energy from on-board scientists. After AI Ping editing, the program then automatically generates human-readable maps of the deep seafloor in realtime from the collected sonar data.
