Motion, a software motion detector, is a free software CCTV software application developed for Linux. ActivMotion is a simple ESP8266 based alarm system. ActivCam is an Android app for both. Get the ActivCam app from the Google Playstore.

Notifications (BETA)
Motion currently doesn't include an integrated function for direct alerting when motion is detected. ActivCam supports push notifications. Please use the notify dialog and get your messaging id. Configure your server as shown below.

The permission WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is necessary to make a client side snapshot. INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE privileges are used for the communication with your motion server. Only the files generated by the app will be processed.
