Road Complaint Tracker

• A web portal for users to lodge grievances regarding poor road conditions.
• Upload the location and images of the damaged roads.
• Track the status of the grievances registered by the user.
• Send Reminders to the department regarding a grievance.
• Users can also check the digital map. Every different coloured marker has a meaning to it which is displayed once we click on them. The engineer on the ground provides information on the condition of roads to the headquarters, where staff then uploads and updates the digital road map.
• API Integrated and checked by Postman - Whatsapp integration(from OTP-less) so users can upload the images there as it saves time and effort of the citizens.
• Progressive Web App - An add to home screen button is also added so that shortcut of that website gets created.

You can set up this on your PC

Must install PHP version (FOR WINDOWS) & (FOR MAC) Both

PHP version used -> ( 8.1.9 )

Must install xampp (FOR WINDOWS) and MAMP (FOR MAC)

MySQL version used -> ( 8.0.29 ) Step -1 Download Zip file

Step -2 Unzip it & move it to htdocs folder

Step -3 Go to xampp-panel or mamp pannel and start apache and mysql

Step -4 To Setup the database, open

  localhost:8888/phpmyadmin    (FOR MAC & MAMP)
  localhost/phpmyadmin         (FOR WINDOWS & XAMPP)

Step -5 Create New Database

Step -6 Database Name "cms"

Step -7 Import Database from "htdocs/db/cms.sql" directory.

   cms.sql (db file)

Step -8 Run in the browser

  localhost:8888/<name>/     (FOR MAC)
  localhost/<name>/          (FOR WINDOWS)
