Detecting Bugs in Python Runtimes via Two-Level Collaborative Fuzzing

Useable docker image for PyRTFuzz: docker pull daybreak2019/pyrtfuzz:v1.1 Use the . build.sh to build the whole program.

Install Cpython-3.9/3.8/3.7 with instrumentation

cd PyRTFuzz/experiments && ./buildCPython.sh 

Collect API specs from cpython runtimes

cd PyRTFuzz/apispec/PySpec
./genSpec.sh python3.9  ----> CPY_3.9.15_apispec.xml
./genSpec.sh python3.8  ----> CPY_3.8.15_apispec.xml
./genSpec.sh python3.7  ----> CPY_3.7.15_apispec.xml

Run the basic test cases

cd PyRTFuzz/test && ./RunTest.sh

Run the fuzzing on cpython&runtimes

  cd PyRTFuzz/experiments

Automatically running the experiments with containers

cd tool/
autofuzz.sh run [docker-image] [python3.9/python3.8/python3.7] [start-cpu] [cpu-num]
