About The Project

Project

This project is about gRPC in Python.
gRPC is a modern open source high performance Remote Procedure Call (RPC) framework that can run in any environment. It can efficiently connect services in and across data centers with pluggable support for load balancing, tracing, health checking and authentication. It is also applicable in last mile of distributed computing to connect devices, mobile applications and browsers to backend services.

Getting started

Prerequisites

Installation

  1. Clone the repository
    git clone https://github.com/jpcadena/grpc-in-python.git
    
  2. Change the directory to root project
    cd grpc-in-python
    
  3. Install Poetry package manager
    pip install poetry
    
  4. Install the project's dependencies
    poetry install
    
  5. Activate the environment
    poetry shell

Usage

  1. Run the scripts:

    Move to the package to execute any of the scripts, run the following command in your terminal given the name of the file:

    python filename.py
