This is the literate configuration for my Doom Emacs setup. Here, you will only find three relevant files:
config.org
config.el
init.el
My rationale for only including those three files, instead of also including my autoload/
files and packages.el
is that those two files are created by config.org
, and there isn’t anything fancy about how they’re tangled.
You can see the file skeletons in config.org
.
However, I include config.el
so that people can see how the main configuration looks when tangled.
I do some nesting and whatnot in there, and even I get confused.
I like to help others who are just learning.
And finally, I include init.el
because it is not tangled from config.org
.
That file is loaded before config.org
is tangled by Doom, so the first time using this config wouldn’t actually work, since the file wouldn’t exist yet if I just had config.org
in the repo.
Some people include it, but they usually don’t rely on Doom’s built-in literate config settings.
