Blitzz.in is an experimental project exploring forums and communities centered around Bollywood, Movies and media content in India. Idea here is to create a concept combining the features of Twitter and Reddit, and solve the current problems both these platfroms have. Results and observations will be shared in a separate blog. Another objective of this concept is to explore fair and free media distribution platform independent of influencers and powerful media companies
This project is based on Flarum project (Linked below). We owe a great depth of gratitude to the creators and contributors of Flarum, for creating such a wonderful Forum software.
Over the course of time Blitzz.in may develop custom extensions pertaining to its needs. All extensions and any custom plugins developed will be made available to the community under MIT license
Flarum is free, open-source forum software built with PHP and Mithril.js. It is:
- Simple, with a responsive UI that is optimized for touch devices
- Fast, with a total JS payload size of ~130 KB gzipped
- Extensible, so you can tailor it to your use-case
Flarum is currently in beta and should not be used in production. It is being developed openly on GitHub. Check out the Roadmap to follow along with our progress.
You must have SSH access to a server with PHP 5.5+ and MySQL 5.5+, and install Composer.
composer create-project flarum/flarum . --stability=beta
