This is an iSCSI target daemon. Usage instructions: Simply execute itd. It automatically binds to the specified port, and begins servicing iSCSI requests against a heap-allocated slice of memory. After that, standard iSCSI initiator/target connection instructions apply. Instructions to logging into an itd target using the Linux kernel's iSCSI initiator: 1) Issue discovery, and get target info into iscsiadm local database # iscsiadm --mode discovery --type sendtargets --portal $TARGET_IP_ADDR 2) Login to target # iscsiadm --mode node --targetname iqn.2010-04.us.yyz.bd.itd:target0 \ --portal $TARGET_IP_ADDR --login 3) Use SCSI block device that is created by kernel to your heart's content. 4) Logout from target # iscsiadm --mode node --targetname iqn.2010-04.us.yyz.bd.itd:target0 \ --portal $TARGET_IP_ADDR --logout
