Outline
In this workshop we will:
- Learn what Docker is and why people use is
- Learn the difference between Docker and Docker Compose
- Learn common Docker terms
- Create our own Dockerized application
Prerequisites for workshop
The one and only prerequisite is that you need to have Docker installed.
Warning: the steps in this workshop are only guaranteed to work on a Mac. You may be able to follow along on Windows but the steps were only tested on a Mac.
Preparation
No preparation is necessary. If you like, you may look at the included PDF ebook which we'll be using as a guide during the workshop.
