Wordpress theme development env - Vagrant, chef, berkshelf.
Vagrant virtual machine running ubuntu 12.04 (64 bit). Uses Berkshef + Chef Solo to install wordpress and accompanying tools.

Install Berkshelf:
gem install berkshelf

Instal Vagrant Berkshelf Plugin:
vagrant plugin install vagrant-berkshelf
Create project directory
mkdir proj-name
Move into dir
cd proj-name
Clone vagrant-press into directory
git clone git@github.com:jaridmargolin/vagrant-press.git
Clone theme repository into theme dir
git clone git@github.com:username/your/theme/repo.git ./theme
vagrant up
vagrant ssh
By default port 80 on your virtual machine is forwarded to port 8080 on your host machine. View Vagrant Networking Documentation for more information on changing defaults
