This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Using this boilerplate

To setup this boiletplate on a fresh project:

npx create-next-app@latest -e https://github.com/jamespohalloran/indie-boilerplate

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.ts.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.

Env

Set the following .env for your project

NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_ANALYTICS=***

Launch Checklist

  • Host on Vercel
  • Setup custom domain
  • Configure SEO
  • Add License
  • Setup Google Analytics
  • Add to Portfolio's "projects"

Deploy on Vercel

The easiest way to deploy your Next.js app is to use the Vercel Platform from the creators of Next.js.
