This project is trying to scrape real estate information from www.finn.no, including the price, area, how many bedrooms, address etc. It starts from each page to scrape the url of each house and after collecting all the urls, it goes to the urls one by one to scrape the detailed housing information, and saves the collected information in excel.

Requirements

• Python 3+

Python libraries that i used

• bs4
• requests
• xlsxwriter

Installation

1. Install Python 3+
2. Open "cmd.exe" or a Terminal
3. type ("pip3 install bs4") and hit enter
4. type ("pip3 install requests") and hit enter
5. type ("pip3 install xlsxwriter") and hit enter

How to run the program

1. Create a new folder
2. Place the app.py file in the folder that you just created
3. Run the app.py (You can customize the script if you want)
