Process

Create a Script File:

  • Start by creating a script file and save it in a secure location. For example, you can name it .gitScript.sh.

Add Script Content:

  • Copy the contents of the script.sh file in this repository into your newly created script file.

Add Script to Environment:

  • Add the path of your script's location to your environment.
  • On Ubuntu, you can do this by appending the following line to your ~/.bashrc file: source ~/your-folder-path/.gitScript.sh Replace your-folder-path with the actual path to your script.

Save the ~/.bashrc File:

  • Save the changes made to the ~/.bashrc file.

Reload Bash Configuration:

  • Run the following command to apply the changes to your current session:
    • source ~/.bashrc
