Installation:

This component is compatible with angular-cli and it's recommended way to use it in conjunction with it. Note that you must use angular-cli current master as npm package is outdated.

Installation procedure:

git clone https://github.com/angular/angular-cli.git
cd angular-cli 
npm install
npm link

ng new your-project-name
cd your-project-name
npm link angular-cli
ng install ng2-datepicker

Use Example:

import {Component} from 'angular2/core';
import {FORM_DIRECTIVES} from 'angular2/common';
import {DatePicker} from 'ng2-datepicker';

class Test {
  date: string;
}
