- It is for those who are interested in building a Backend system to test how client apps connect to such system. By this way, they can further write backend code for their own business, meeting their own needs.
- This demonstration project offers main processing steps only, no validation, error capturing, security issue handling, etc. included.
- The real project which comprises full features, UIs, history, etc. integrates several private operations (such as those of medical profession), making it impossible to be made open source.

Bluezone uses a number of open source projects to work properly:
- [Mysql] - Database
- [IIS] - Deploy .NET project
- [Firebase] - Database realtime
- [Bootstrap] - great UI boilerplate for modern web apps
- [node.js] - evented I/O for the backend
- [Express] - fast node.js network app framework
- [jQuery] - duh
And of course Bluezone itself is open source with a [public repository][dill] on GitHub.
Bluezone is released under GNU/GPL version 3.
