A webapp for collecting and prioritizing ideas.
If you're on Fedora >= 16 but haven't used the django ORM with a postgres database or played around with ipython notebooks and scikit learn, then you'll need to install some binary packages in your OS:
# for the postrgres database ORM in Django
sudo yum install -y postgresql postgresql-server postgresql-libs postgresql-devel
# for some Django extensions and packages
sudo yum install sudo yum install -y readline-devel libmemcached libmemcached-devel
# for pug (machine learning)
sudo yum install -y python-devel libxml2-devel libxslt-devel gcc-gfortran python-scikit-learn
Then download the latest source code:
git clone https://github.com/hobson/totalgood.git
Install some pretty extensive dependencies (this will be the hard part):
cd totalgood
pip install requirements.txt --allow-external pybrain --allow-external pug-nlp
Now if you're lucky and everything installed, you can migrate to an empty database and run a development webserver
cd totalgood/totalgood
manage.py migrate
manage.py runserver
firefox http://localhost:8000
This software is in alpha testing. Install at your own risk.
