Development Introduction📖

A full-stack web application to tackle the UN's Sustainable Development goal of 'Good Health and Wellbeing' using Spring Boot on Apache Maven and React.

Our goal 🥅

One of our ideas we discussed about was, a weight loss web app which would calculate the user’s daily calorie intake and take in their daily weight via user input. Every month it would update the user on how much weight they have gained or lost. The calorie intake web application would be using one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals “Good Health” and to tackle obesity.

Objective

The objective of this web application is to provide the user with information they need in order to achieve the weight gain or loss they require. This would be done by updating the user every month by their average gain or loss which will give them the necessary data in order to achieve their goals.

Feasibility

The objectives are realistic and achievable because the web app feeds the user with enough data and information for them to know if they’re on track on losing/gaining weight so therefore they will have up to date information on their progress.

Innovation

Many people do not count their calories or track their weight gain/loss which causes them to lose track of everything and not be able to manage their health. This web app will enable to user to prevent unnecessary weight loss or gain which leads to good health. It helps them stay healthy in a creative presented way which is pleasing towards the user. We can have gratification whenever a user inputs their weight to suggest what their mood was for that following day.
