News-Android-Application
1) An Android News application that lists news and shows details of the news. The details part will show the details of the new title, description, body, image. 2) Ability to put/edit ratings to a news article and ratings will show on the next click on that news. 3) Users are able to put a comment on the news. This comment is visible next time one clicks on that news. Also, users can further edit that comment. It'll be saved, and updated comments will be seen in a subsequent visit. 4) UI design using fragments.
Plants-Vs-Zombies-Game
A GUI Game designed using Java in the advanced programming domain involving various concepts - OOPs, interface, error handling, multithreading, etc. The objective of the game is to defend the house from zombies using various plants as a defense arsenal through different levels. If the zombies are able to reach the house, you fail the level and have to play the level again.

Our task is to build a small-scale e-commerce application. The aim of the application is to connect merchants with customers and make the ensuing transaction hassle-free. Use of OOP concepts, especially interfaces and polymorphism while building the application.
IIITD-ANDROID-FITNESS-APPLICATION
1) An android application that helps the users to boost their physical activities and move towards a healthier lifestyle in their busy schedule within their work environment. 2) Apart from the exercises, the application would also focus on minute things that could bring major transformation in one’s life like water tracking (reminder), medicine reminders, diet tips, and preventive measures for lifestyle diseases like diabetes, high/low blood pressure, etc. 3) Currently, the application is developed for the IIIT Delhi community with customised details of the campus and available resources. 4) Some of the features provided by the app are: Physical Fitness- Includes exercises for people who have time or less time, including monthly plans. Mental Fitness- Providing activities for anger management, stress management, meditation techniques. Calories tracker according to your body weight and height. We have also provided special exercises and activities for elderly people to stay fit or those who are not able to do usual activities. 5) E-mail verification is needed whenever a new user is registered with his details. Login is restricted to the IIIT-D community only. 6) Database is maintained and managed through firebase.

A radio or FM receiver is an electronic device that receives radio waves and converts the information carried by them to a usable form. An antenna is used to catch the desired frequency waves. The receiver uses electronic filters to separate the desired radio frequency signal from all the other signals picked up by the antenna, an electronic amplifier to increase the power of the signal for further processing, and finally recovers the desired information through demodulation.

Identity Resolution in Online Social Media is a major problem because it allows the aggregation of data on users across multiple platforms. I used three distance metrics to study whether their usernames across different pairs of platforms depict some similarities. Results shows the best metric to use for i. Machine-learning-classifier
Here, we build a machine learning classifier to classify the comments into the two categories “news” and “humour” and represent the comments as vectors using a bag of words approach. We evaluate our model on the test-set and report its accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score and plot a confusion matrix to demonstrate our model’s performance. Also, there are examples of comments where our model performed well and where it failed.

In this section, we select any one of the Twitter handles of police in India. Preferably, handles that are verified or have a significant number of followers and tweets for a better quality of analysis. We detect different PIIs(for example - phone numbers, vehicle number plates etc.), users complaints, the response time of the Police account in replying to tweets by other users.
