Sundaes on Demand

Welcome to "Sundaes on Demand" – a simple React project for ordering customized ice cream sundaes! It is created for learning and practicing testing in React.

Getting Started

Installation

Clone this repository to your local machine using:

git clone https://github.com/kuohamkun/rtl-sundaes-on-demand.git

Navigate to the project directory and install project dependencies:
```
cd rtl-sundaes-on-demand
npm install
```
Navigate to the server directory and install its dependencies:
```
cd rtl-sundaes-on-demand/server
npm install
```
Note: The server is part of another repository and can be found at bonnie/udemy-TESTING-LIBRARY/sundae-server.

Usage

To run this project, follow these steps:

Start the Server:
- Navigate to the server folder using your command line interface.
- Run npm start to start the server. Please note that the server folder is from another repository and not maintained in this project.
Start the Project:
- In another terminal, navigate to project's root directory.
- Run npm start to launch the "Sundaes on Demand" application.

Now you can access the project in your browser and start creating your custom ice cream sundaes!

Running Tests

To run the tests for the Sundaes On Demand App and practice React testing, use the following command:

npm test

Project Information

This project is a learning exercise for React and may not have all the features of a production-ready application.
The server functionality is provided by a separate repository located in the server directory. The server folder is sourced from another repository mentioned above.

Additional Notes

Please ensure that the server is running before launching the main project to ensure proper functionality.
