Intro

Kabanero is an Open Source project and represents

A modern microservices-based framework that simplifies development, build and continuous deploy of apps for Kubernetes

The principles and objectives

• 100% open source

• collaboration for Arch/Dev/Ops roles/activities

  • Architect: Governance, Architecture Policies, Technology selection

  • Developer: Re-use pre-defined stacks/collections, unconcerned about infrastructure

  • Operator: Manage the cluster and base frameworks

• predefined collections ("solutions") with build, deploy, monitoring and management capabilities

• define a generic way of development and deployment, supporting DevOps Tools

• support extension points in the entire workflow
