README ======= tuitest is a tool to create an run automated tests of text user interfaces. It is meant as a complement to the widespread use of unit tests, and uses concepts known from GUI testing tools with the difference that it applies them specifically to text- and terminal-based user interfaces. Installation ------------ To build and install tuitest, simply run "make" and "make install". Build Dependencies: - ncurses (tested with 5.6) - Ruby 1.8 development files - Swig (tested with 1.3.33) Documentation ------------- To generate the documentation, run "make doc".
