Created at Microsoft Appathon during Spring 2013. Since Microsoft needed to aggressively drive apps to the Windows Store, before too long someone created a plug-in for Excel such that "developers" could enter a bunch of hyperlinks (i.e., Twitter, Weather, Flickr, etc.) in a spreadsheet and an app was generated for them which pulled data from each of the feeds and displayed it in a grid structure. After that you just add artwork and send it to the store. Crazy, right? Available for free in Windows Store.
