Show the number of followers of a Twitter account on your Panic Status Board.
Update November 2016: From now on, Status Board is history. Read more about it on the Panic Blog.
- Go to Twitter's developer website, log in, set up a new app and then note following info: oauth_access & oauth_access secret tokens, consumer & consumer secret keys.
- Download statusboard-twitter-followers.php and enter above info accordingly in lines 24 to 27.
- Enter your Twitter name at line 31.
- Download TwitterAPIExchange.php from https://github.com/J7mbo/twitter-api-php.
- Upload both files to your server.
- On your iPad: Open Status Board, add a DIY panel (the one with the "< >" symbols), tap on it and enter the path to the files on your server. (http://example.com/path/to/statusboard-twitter-followers.php)
- Be happy.
