Sophonetica

This repo makes it possible to use Sophonetica, a canIPA font from IdegenNyelvŐr, via a CDN (see below). Sophonetica is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Usage

Because Sophonetica uses many Private Use Area (PUA) code points, I've included some character shortcuts. To use them, follow these steps:

1. Add the following code to the header of your HTML document:

2. Add the following code to the footer of your HTML document:

By doing so, within <canipa></canipa>, the render.js script will replace the character shortcuts with the appropriate code points that Sophonetica can read. For example, the characters
