Amazon Selenium

Quick and dirty approach to use Selenium to browse Amazon product by their Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN). It will checks whether:

• Product is available
• Sold by Amazon
• Price is within range

When all above criteria are met, buy action will be performed automatically using configured account.

To do

• Login to Amazon
• Browse product page
• Buy item
• Verify purchase is successful
• Keep loop in randomized time until an item is bought

How to run

• Clone this repository

• Install latest Node LTS

• Create new .env file inside checkout dir, for example ~/path/to/checkout/dir/.env

• Populate the new .env file with following values

  AMAZON_USERNAME=[e-mail]
  AMAZON_PASSWORD=YourPassword
  AMAZON_SITE=https://www.amazon.co.uk
  AMAZON_CURRENCY=£
  AMAZON_LOCALE=en-GB
  AMAZON_ITEMS_TO_BUY=B07PJV3JPR,B015GW0Y9I,B08X3Q664Q

  or for example for Amazon Germany

  AMAZON_USERNAME=[e-mail]
  AMAZON_PASSWORD=YourPassword
  AMAZON_SITE=https://www.amazon.de
  AMAZON_CURRENCY=€
  AMAZON_LOCALE=en-GB

  You also can configure trusted merchant name by adding comma separated values AMAZON_TRUSTED_MERCHANTS to the .env file, for example:

  AMAZON_TRUSTED_MERCHANTS=Amazon,Amazon US

  By default, it will only trust value specified in AMAZON_MAIN_MERCHANT if AMAZON_TRUSTED_MERCHANTS value is empty and fallback to Amazon if both are empty.

• Run npm install

• Run the Selenium code using npm run start
