netflix

This repository is used to analyze publically available data on NetFlix. It is meant to provide prospective Netflix hires with some additional information about the company. Note that this can be easily extended to any other Tech company and that I do not claim whether this information can help prospective candidates with an improved chances in passing through the interview process (given that I do not work for tech companies/Netflix).

This repository contains all code used for trials, experimentation and eventually used in the paper: Megahed, F. M., Wells, L. J., Camelio, J. A., & Woodall, W. H. (2012). A spatiotemporal method for the monitoring of image data. Quality and Reliability Engineering International, 28(8), 967-980. The code has not been touched since 2010 and I have shared it with 8-10 research groups since the paper was published. This repo is somewhat disorganized as it is purely a file dump of everything we tried for the paper.

This repo contains the simulation and case study code used in Wells, L. J., Megahed, F. M., Niziolek, C. B., Camelio, J. A., & Woodall, W. H. (2013). Statistical process monitoring approach for high-density point clouds. Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, 24(6), 1267-1279. This code was added to GitHub approximately 8-9 years from when the work was done so my apologies for any missing documentation. I used to share Dropbox links with readers and this is a better long-term approach. These two folders were shared with several researchers via email links in the past.
