Ready to use Openvas / GVM 11 in a Docker container

This is a Docker image that comes with the latest version of Openvas (GVM 11) installed and ready to use. The NVT feed database is downloaded during the Docker build step and stored inside the final image. This way, when the image starts it's ready to start scanning.

Run from DockerHub

This image is available on DockerHub under maiconio/gvm-openvas-docker

sudo docker run -p 80:80 -p 443:443 --rm -ti -d --name openvas maiconio/gvm-openvas-docker

How to build the image

sudo docker build -t openvas .

How to start a local container

sudo docker run -p 80:80 -p 443:443 --rm -ti -d --name openvas openvas

How to access the web UI

The web UI will be available at:

https://127.0.0.1

Username: openvas
Password: openvas
