FSR172X Kernel Support

12-bit general data acquisition via CCDC.

Attach data lines to the ribbon cable of the Gumstix Overo (or any OMAP device).

The device must generate HD/VD (Horizontal-Sync/Vertical-Sync) signals and media-ctl must be used to configure the CCDC pipeline. The size of the capture must match the HD/VD signals being generated. The device should be able to buffer (i.e. hardware FIFO) a few "frames" of data so that a pause can be issued during VD.

yavta may be used to test the data acquisition.

GPIO23 is used to signal to the hardware to turn capture on or off. By default it is on.

Send a message via github if interested in further development (i.e. having the device accept VD/HD from the OMAP-ISP rather than the device generating VD/HD.

Building the Kernel

git clone git://github.com/fastr/linux-2.6.git
cd linux-2.6
git checkout overo-fsr172x-2.6.36

ARCH=arm
CROSS_COMPILE=~/overo-oe/tmp/sysroots/i686-linux/usr/armv7a/bin/arm-angstrom-linux-gnueabi-
make overo_fsr172x_defconfig
make uImage
