The goal is to implement algorithms for extremely overlapping vehicle counting in traffic congestion situations. There are mainly two different approaches for vehicle counting:
- Counting using detection;
- Direct vehicle count regression from images.
TRaffic ANd COngestionS (TRANCOS) is used as dataset.
