This talk discusses how to establish distinct topics in an unstructured or previously unknown body of documents. We will be covering LSI v. LDA, document preparation, optimum topic number and extracting insight from the model. The sample document set with be the entire records of the Dail for the last 18 months, and the results show some interesting and enlightening insight.
