Abstract

• Generate language profiles from Wikipedia abstract xml
• Detect language of a text using naive Bayesian filter
• 99% over precision for 53 languages

Project Origin

This project is a fork of the very good language detection library written by Nakatani Shuyo (Cybozu Labs).

You can find the original project hosted on google code.

The main goal of the fork was to mavenize the project and improve the API.
