Boat Reservation Application

Why did we build this project?

• This is a java course demo project. We built this app to show that what we learned from the course and what we can do by using them.

What this application does

Boat reservation application is a java console application to manage all operation's a boat renting company. You can manage below operation by using this application:

• add, delete, update and track a boat,
• make and cancel a reservation,
• create a user to use this application,
• create a report to see company situation,
• etc.

Challenges

• We encountered the Date class's deserialization problem when the code try to bring data from json file.
• We solved this problem by following below guide.

Installation

You can download the project directly by clicking download button.

Usage

• If you have a JRE, open a command prompt window or terminal and go to the directory where you saved the code.
• Run subsequently below commands:

javac Main.java
java Main
