Welcome to Movies DB, a React application that offers a streamlined interface for browsing a vast database of movies. Utilizing the powerful TMDB API, Movies DB provides movie enthusiasts with detailed insights into movie plots, casts, genres, and more, all enriched with an intuitive and elegant user interface. By default, the app displays current movies that are now showing in theatres worldwide, keeping you up-to-date with the latest cinema offerings.

Installation

To set up the project locally, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone [repository-url]
   cd movies-db
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Start the application:

   npm start
   

4. This will run the app in development mode. Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

Usage

Once the application is running, you can:

• Explore Movies: Browse the latest and most popular movies.
• Search and Filter: Use filters or keywords to search for genres of interest.
• Movie Details: Click on any movie card to view detailed information such as synopsis, rating, release date, and more.
• User Authentication: Utilize the Auth0 integration to create an account or log in to access personalized features (still in development).
