GuitarScales

This is a guitar scale display I created using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is also the first application I built using these three languages. The user selects a bass note and a scale type and the program returns the user with a visual display of the notes that can be used to play the particular scale.

Viewing the Website

To view the site, go to https://dylanlegebokow.github.io/GuitarScales

Installing Method 1 - Command Line

To use this method, make sure you can access java commands using the command line

  1. Clone this repository to your local machine
  2. Using the command line, $cd into where you copied this repository
  3. Use $cd Code to get into the code folder
  4. Use $GuitarScales.html to run the program

Installing Method 2 - File Explorer

To use this method, make sure you have a Java IDE installed

  1. Clone this repository to your local machine
  2. Open up the file explorer (Windows) and navigate to where you cloned the repository
  3. Double-click on GuitarScales.html to run the program
